I've been looking at getting Christopher Gunning's "Concerto for Piano & Orchestra; Storm; Symphony No. 1" (anyone got it?) and just interested to hear what other have to recommend? I just picked up Anne Dudley's "Ancient & Modern" which is terrific, most definetely recommended to all. I'd love to hear about some other gems I'm missing out on. Matt |

Can't really give you a review here, but If you like serious music that builds a terrific, rousing atmosphere, then you wont be disappointed. Gunning doesn't truly get the accolades that he so decidedly deserves and, whether it be film music or of the concert hall, this CD certainly highlights his considerable talents as a composer of serious music well worth investing in.
