Thanks for standing up for us and not lettin' 'em rain on our parade, Roger!

I'll just ask this: where is the harm in a clue? It's just fun 'n' games; if you don't like it don't participate.

Maybe for the "simple-minded" (grrr) you could put a "CLUE" warning like a spoiler space whenever you post one, Roger.

Anyway, I think Roger needs a show of support. So everyone who even likes his clues a *little* bit, go ahead and say so! And if you don't like the clues but are a nice person who isn't bothered by the advance enthusiasm of others, feel free to post here as well.

Cheers!

Yavar (looking forward to that clue today...)

P.S. -- I liked how you gave the initials for the last composer (though by no means should that be too regular of a thing). I liked that we had to wonder for a little bit if it was Georges Delerue or George Duning. It set me to thinking (if I may be allowed to stray a little off my own topic) what other film composers share the same initials. At the moment I can't think of any!

I love his clues and I had asked him if he could narrow his clues down, like saying the late 1960's, well heck that could be hundred of scores, but if you say like the initials of a composer or something that narrows it down, not much, but least some. Bring on the clues. Those that don't like the clues or complain, you know what DON'T READ THEM and wait til Monday at 5:15PM or whenever they announce th new titles.

I love clues and keep checking for one for quite a few hours ;-) Well it's already pretty dark around here :)

You know, we film score fans are so spoiled. We're getting loads of fantastic music these days from Intrada and FSM and others, and yet we are still unhappy? Not because of the actual music, but because of the way clues about the releases are dispensed? Sheesh. How nitpicky. I like clues, and really enjoy guessing games, and those who don't aren't being forced to read them.

Back at ya later

Agreed. LOL! Hard to believe what gets people irked these days. Sheesh. Reminds me of Nick Hornby's HIGH FIDELITY and makes me realize it was not the slightest bit exaggerated.

Well, I can think of "A.N." which could be either Alex North or Alfred Newman. "J.G." could be Jerry Goldsmith or Johnny Green. There must be one or two others...

Keep the clues comin' Roger. I'll also keep posting bulletins letting people know something's coming up soon, too. Listeners in good spirits with a sense of humor will read on, play along and maybe even look forward to what's coming up.

The grumpy people with little to offer but complaints will continue to complain. Wanna guess which people I care about?
