Aha! I have found something negative to say, so that I will not sound like a sycophantic fanboy! What's with the colors on the cover? I suppose this is the original art. Nice music-- with a preference for the more modern passages, but still, it sounds nice. 1499 copies left. ![]() I really like Thibaud the Crusader, by the way. And thanks for making my wait worth it! I have been grading papers in the meantime-- pretty poor marks. Delerue and Intrada have just saved my night (and sanity, incidentally)! |

It has been awhile since I have listened to this score. As I recall it was one of my favorite Delerue, hope I'm not disappointed. Ordered |

First of all, down on a knee, I salute everyone involved in this dream come true: the release of the original version of A WALK OF LOVE AND DEATH is simply historical for many of us, well especially for me ! I ordered my copy few hours after the annoncement... I shall back on this gem as soon as I receive and listen to it. Now, I'm with niall who ask for a release for INTERLUDE ! This music was used for years, here in France, as a main title for a national radiophonic show called "Eve Ruggieri raconte" at the very beginning of the 80's. I grew up with this fantastic music with a lyrical, timeless melody, learning almost 15 years later that it was a film score from a french composer called Georges Delerue (thanks to Varèse's London Sessions CDs). I got the LP but a CD release would be another dream fullfilled... But no complaint here: nothing heard good lately ? Buy A WALK WITH LOVE AND DEATH ! |
