Wonderful! What a shame most of it has been lost. Out of 8 hours of program, there must have been an incredible amount of music. I have never seen this mini-series (like so many of those movies whose scores I have), but I have the Gerhardt album, so I know and love the music presented on it. Thanks for this great release! ![]() |

Thank you Intrada!!! EAST OF EDEN has one of the most beautiful themes I have ever heard. Any new Holdridge release is an event for me. |

When the lp was released in late 1981, it was an early exposure to Holdridge's music and I was stunned by the depth of the score. Anyone within ear (eye?) shot of this can take it from me- This is a fine soundtrack score- and it's long awaited release is a fine surprise tonight. ![]() |

Sweet! Though I'm somewhat bummed it couldn't be a 2 disc set, you can bet I'll be picking this up before it's gone. Everyone else should too! Yavar |

Count on me ordering this! I wanted to get the LP from the late lamented 58 Dean Street Records* but I never did - now here it is with more music as well! Besides, Lee Holdridge can do no wrong (it wasn't his fault that the producers of 10.5 wouldn't spring for a proper orchestra!). *With its closure a couple of years back, London now has no stores devoted to soundtracks. Bite me, self-proclaimed world's greatest/coolest/whatever city... grumble, grumble... |
