I like that "brain surgery" thing. Just lately I've been doing some DVD featurettes for a character-driven film and I had a lot of fun playing with where the music came and went in the show and seeing what effect the music had on the thing. Luckily I was working for a very intelligent producer who did not insist on music from first frame to last - that's very rare.

Hey, I'm not a composer and this is as close as I'm likely to get to doing what they do. :)

Just got a chance to listen to this one... a really wonderful cd, especially "Max Dugan Returns"! Most enjoyable, thanks so much for this release.

Back at ya later

Received this morning, playing right now.
I love this main theme; real nice sound.
Thanks a lot!

PS Udate:
Listened & loved trhough & through!
Max Dugans is a brilliant, sparkling "little" score; I Ought to Be in Pictures is very enjoyable too (with quite a catchy theme)!
Bullseye!

One thing I noticed while I was listening to the cd again... I thought the theme from "You Ought to Be in Pictures" sounded a little familiar, but I couldn't place it at first... then it hit me...

Does anyone else think it sounds very much like Chuck Mangione's hit instrumental piece "Feels So Good"?

Back at ya later
