Intrada Soundtrack Forum

I'm not one to tell people how they should act, but I never will pay for a cd more than double its original price. $40 its my top price for any limited edition, used or new, if I can't to acquire at the first opportunity for any reason. I think is enough and reasonable price.

Coco, I'm waiting for one copy of The Burbs, Ghostbusters, Beneath the 12-mile Reef , YSH, etc... but Never will pay for them more than $40, just still waiting a new re-edition. Only if I win a big lotto

I have to work too hard every day ( 12h in a coal mine ) to spend one week's salary in a cd, also love music and I'm a collector but not lose my head for it.

One of the best. IMHO.

I have to say I heartedly disagree with CC about Intrada's practices. Like MovieScore, LLL, et al it's a BUSINESS. Businesses have to make money, and sometimes unlimited releases just don't make as much money as a limited number of copies do. A limited quantity of soundtrack release mitigates the risk of having an unlimited run, if the demand isn't there. Simple economics.

There are some Intrada releases I've regretted not buying (like House of Cards), but I just move on. There's always the opportunity of a re-release somewhere down the line, or digital downloads from iTunes or Amazon (like what MovieScore is doing with their CD releases).

Roger is awesome! He is great at what he does and even takes time to talk to us which I think is really cool. He is one of the best.
