But the CDs of The Cardinal are easy to find, at least in Europe (or did you mean the original recording?)

I agree on Baxter. His scores for Usher, Tales of Terror and The Pit and the Pendulum are masterpieces. Interesting is Frogs for which he used sounds of animals.

I have Ellis´Electric Bath on CD. A fine listen.

I wish we could have CDs of The Seven Ups or The Deadly Tower. He also wrote a horror score for Ruby in 1977. Unfortunaly I´ve never seen the film, which is directed by the underrated Curtis Harrington.

At the time of it´s release Ruby was butchered by it´s producer and Harrington was furious about it. The DVD has restored scenes, but some are still missing.

I agree about Laurie. One of the finest actresses of her generation.

One of Harrington´s own personal faves is The Killing Kind which stars John Savage and Ann Sothern as a deranged mother and son-pair.
