Congratulations Intrada on the aniversary and on another wonderful release.

I loved how much better it sounds and even the fact that you adopted the same style for the side of the CD as yours RAMBO III, both fit very well close to the other.

Based on the liner notes I think we might have some hope that First Blood Part II will follow soon... at least it is clear that Doug is lucky enough to have actually heard the unreleased "End Title" to that film from the details he describes in page 8 of the booklet :wink:

Not sure if anyone reported this to you guys here at Intrada, but from my conversations with David Morrell, he was thrilled about this new release and stated in his Facebook response that he would definitely be purchasing it. He is, apparently, a huge Jerry Goldsmith fan and, per his own words, has more of his scores than any other composer.

I knew I liked the guy for a reason!

Anyway, just thought you guys would like to know that the creator of Rambo appreciates what you've done as well!

Can anyone who saw the film when it first came out confirm whether I'm crazy or not? (Don't answer yet, wise guys.)

I could swear the first time I saw First Blood when it opened, there was a scene in it that was cut from all later releases. It had it so that Teasel takes Rambo out of town once and then discovers him again back in town and takes him out a second time. Then when he sees him following his squad car back to town he turns around and arrests Rambo.

Does anyone else remember this sequence? Did I imagine it? Is it possible that the print I saw hadn't removed a scene that was supposed to be cut prior to release?

I finally got time to listen to the 2 CDs tonight

One word - EXCELLENT :mrgreen:

I've always liked some of the smaller cues like: THE TRUCK, NO POWER

I actually really like that Pop-Orchestra Main Title

and the Trailer music was really good
