I just found out about this and as usual can't believe it!!!!! This country isn't based on marx and fair trade went out the window a long time ago. I doubt if any of you have ever been in retail at a high management level. Well I have and was general manager of a 5 million dollar a year operation for 30+ years till my stroke. If SAE buys something they can sell it for any price they want. You act like they are breaking the law. If you don't like it buy elsewhere!!!!! You can't tell a company what they can sell anything for. My blood thinner without supplemental insurance on Medicare Part D is a $157.00 a month. The cost of the material and manufacture for 60 pills, a 30 day supply is 30 cents. Even with insurance the copay is $30 a month which is 100 times marked up. Without insurance the markup is over 500 times. Lets just say that SAE paid Intrada $16. Marked up 500 times the cost would be $2400 for the CD. Even at 30 times the cost would be $480. I'm not saying that 30 cents is the bottom line but since this drug came out 50 years ago its paid for. They charge what the market will bear. You're ripped off big time everytime you fill your car with gas, buy a soda, a tube of toothpaste.
In this case they aren't wrong or right. I sincerely doubt Craig is a wealthy man knowing the type of business he is in.
Go after the oil and drug companies who are truly evil and I don't say that lightly. Make a difference. Use one less tank of gas a month and watch the price drop $1 a gallon. It will.
