Listening to it now, Roger. Looking forward to what you have in store for us in the future.
As for streaming... look into Shoutcast -
http://www.shoutcast.com/download
Or you can go the Real Audio route the way I did it.
- Create your RealAudio files (with .ra or .rm extensions) and upload to your web site.
- Using a text editor you will need to create a file containing the path to the RealAudio file. In a text editor, open a new blank file and type in a single line containing the path to your .ra file.
- For example if you uploaded your .ra files into a folder called 'audio', your path would be:
http://www.yourdomain.com/audio/youraudiofilename.ra
- Save this text file as youraudiofilename.ram and upload to your web space.
- In your web page create a hyperlink for users to click on to launch the RealAudio file. In the hyperlink, reference the .ram file created above.
- Save and upload the webpage and you're done.
I'm still a fan of Real Audio because at least to my ear at lower bit rates (96k for instance) the sound quality beats out Quicktime and Window Media at the same bit rate. If you are interested in this route and what my help email me. cinematicsound at yahoo dot com.
Anyway, good luck with the show.
