Doug, thank you for not setting an ugly precedent here... now I can sell my 250 Inchon copies on eBay and retire.

This was a waste because, despite your temptation to placate many who missed a copy, your valuable time should be spent doing what you do best: SOUNDTRACKS !!!

I just wanted to say that, in an ideal world, the re-pressing would have been great, but I agree that for Intrada, it would have been opening a huge can of worms to do it in this case, as evidenced by all the negative posts here which I predicted early in the thread.

Intrada doesn't deserve to deal with that, even if re-pressing would be a really nice thing to do.

All the folks who didn't get "Inchon" should buy one of the other Special Collection CDs they have passed on.

"Revolt of Mamie Stover/Hilda Crane" is a stunning recording.

An excellent suggestion Ron. Or if not a Special, get a Signature Club CD. I own the whole collection, except for one which I plan on picking up soon, and I enjoy several of them.

Either way, there are so many other wonderful scores to enjoy in addition to the Inchon. Discover some of the other awesome music that Intrada has released.

Apparently I'm way late to the party, but I'm disappointed you didn't press another batch. Obviously if there are legalities involved with selling a limited edition I totally understand that. With that out of the way I wouldn't have had a problem with another batch being pressed if it was possible to do so.

First, it clearly benefits the few Goldsmith fans who may not have 24/7 access to the internet -- and surely there are many of them still out there.

Second, it would have aided Intrada since there's clearly still a market demand for them. What that real demand is (200 copies? 500?) I don't know, but it certainly seems like it's worth pursuing.

About the only individual this WON'T placate are the people/groups who bought multiple copies in the hopes it would sell fast and they could re-sell them at a profit.

So, frankly, I say to hell with THEM and press another batch. It's good for you, it's good for the people who missed it, and it makes a lotta sense to me to get Jerry's INCHON and your efforts around to as many listeners as possible.

Obviously it won't happen from your comments...but perhaps there could be an INCHON LITE single-disc effort down the road to show off the remastering and satisfy the folks who might have missed this release.
