I confess Roger, I am stumped. And I tried to get my Goldsmith Odyssey buddies in on this too, and they are stumped. We ruled out Executive Decision, US Marshals, Leviathan, and others that were even more longshots. Jens at first was sure this was from The Last Castle but searched the film thoroughly and couldn't find the cue! Is it even Goldsmith, or someone doing a very good impression of him? Also...we all noticed that the cue is remarkably free of dialogue or FX, so maybe it wasn't taken from the film audio. Is this possibly something Intrada is actually working on to release, now? Wondering why this wasn't included on the DeLuxe... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idOGeGW7vfk |

AND after all these years, there is still no explanation of this... nor has the cue ever been available anywhere on those MANY versions of the score. International version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2EQ0FlVks4 CZ version - I think also somewhere else: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw4RayvPZLg |

Here's a new one to chew on. Should be simpler. There's an album arrangement of this on the album, but it removes all the action material! Bah! https://www.dropbox.com/s/9vq6fajj3xwzr ... 5.mp3?dl=0 |

That’s an awesome cue from Under Fire Roger! I had great hopes of the complete score finally being discovered when initial reports surfaced about the Twilight Time isolated track. They thought they had found tapes but it turned out to only be M&E. Maybe some day... Yavar |

Thought of another one...of course, Roger, what you/we *really* want from Love Field is a complete score release with every note recorded for the film (even from the non-Goldsmith replacement score, as per viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7704 ). But in terms of "key cue left off the original album that left it wanting", there's a Love Field action cue in the film that certainly qualifies. Yavar |

The score was not released but there is that great lonely cue Goldsmith did for Flaming Star. It can be heard here at 15:04 http://goldsmithodyssey.buzzsprout.com/ ... -star-1960 |

Hey, thanks for the Goldsmith Odyssey plug. I would indeed be ecstatic if Jerry’s Flaming Star finale cue “Pacer’s Farewell” were released on CD...it’s powerful stuff! I’d even happily buy an album of the whole score as I liked some of the other composers’ work more than my cohosts did. But I wonder if there might be rights issues with the Elvis connection preventing a release... Yavar |
