Why on earth is it limited to 1'500 copies only??? This one will go fast!

I have the old CD release, one of my first Goldsmith ever, and love it dearly.

Thank you for the reply Doug, I was thinking the same thing on the ride home (type of instrumentation used in a small space) - the scores I had in mind were Morricone's Once Upon A Time In America (which sounds like a pretty big band, but not so much brass and percussion), and Donaggio's Raising Cain - of course Cain is from '93, so maybe Forum was renovated. I can't imagine that the Cain orchestra wouldn't be in the 70-80's.

Something tells me there is a Forum recorded score in my craw that had a large group, with a fine recording, but I'm too tired to go dig it up. Didn't Papillion record there? Is it John Scott's Yor I'm thinking of? Or maybe Morricone's Red Sonja for large orchestra and chorus?

And while we're at it, how the hell did Silvestri squeeze over a hundred guys into Group IV for Predator?

Someone call Ripley!!!!!

As for numbers, it just goes to show:

a) how much we all miss Goldsmith's music, and ANYthing released with his name will sell (why in the hell haven't The Challenge and The Swarm sold out yet????)

or

b) the incredible greed of "collectors"
