After listening to the choir only track (disc 2, track 17) I must conclude that the choir is NOT from "Waxing Elizabeth", but from "Rame Tep" (disc 2, track 2).

You are correct. The choir track syncs perfectly with "Rame Tep" (when starting the choir track around 4 seconds later), but certainly not with "Waxing Elizabeth", which is different and longer.

I don't want to get in anyone's way in their pursuit of soundtrack fulfillment, but is a corrected tray card really that important to some people? It seems like a largely pointless endeavor just for Intrada to satisfy a small number of the OCD crowd, but that's just me.

While it is a mistake, I see it as a very minor one that doesn't need any money spent on it to correct by anyone. Besides, for the most part the choral elements are pretty similiar except in a few places here and there. The only thing I am wondering is if Intrada actually meant to have the chorus for Waxing Elizabeth or Rame Tep? Again, not that it REALLY matters, just curious. Either way, it's a small mistake to me. I love this set!

Not meaning to double-post, but I have to add that the liner notes for this release are fantastic! It contains a lengthy new interview with Broughton that is a dream to read!

Lovely pictures from the film as well.

And you guys need to tackle his RESCUERS DOWN UNDER score next, especially since even he wishes it according to that interview!

although in my opinion Broughton created his BEST scores for Disney theme parks (those attractions seem to give him more liberty/time to develop his ideas for longer exit music cues etc) , i absolutely love what Intrada does in releasing his music for motion pictures!!! Sherlock Holmes AND The Rescue within one month, thank you so much... Keep them coming!

So... should i already create some placeholder in my CD collection for some "Broughton-scores-DisneyParks" album... please????????

I received my order with Young Sherlock Holmes this week and I'm in heaven!
Yes, I have the old promo. Yes, I was used of the mix of it and yes, it took me few minutes to get accustomed to the new mix.
But I want to say here I'm very happy about the new mix as I distinctively hear for the first time all the instruments. All the brightness of the new mix jumps ears to the point that I can no longer hear the promo now, because all the sounds there were as sticky.
People say that the choir is under-mixed. I don't agree, the choir is still there. It's just a different mix -- the one which pleased the composer and the producer.
