It seems ADELE is doing a song according to this article in UKs THE SUN.

Quote: "BOND bosses are being more secretive than MI6 over who will sing over the closing credits of the latest 007 flick Skyfall."

They are saying "closing credits"? So who is doing the Main Titles?

Since the film is only a bit more than a month away from having its world premiere, it will probably be announced very soon.

Some brutally honest thoughts on the song, from a "Bond-Fan" since the late '70's:

1) Adele's vocals aren't that great here - she's a WAAAAAAAAAAAAY over-rated singer
2) Too much use of the word "SKYFALL" - a failing of a few of the songs
3) Half the song is backed by "The James Bond Theme" - COP-OUT!
4) It sounds like one of those DEMOS done during the Pierce Brosnan-era, of a song that was never quite good enough to be the proper Title Song
5) I find it all rather dull and predictable, and I'm bored of it after only a couple of listens

NOT a "Classic" Bond Theme,
but will probably be the first one to make No.1 on the U.K. music charts

I just listened to the Skyfall song. It's not that bad, although I wish they dropped the cheesy backup vocals.

Chris Cornell's song for Casino Royale is often derided, but I always liked its relevant lyrics and catchiness.
