If John Williams wants it that way, I'm okay with it !

"You are the Pan. You can fight, you can fly... you can crow!!!" A memorable scene and easily my favorite moment of this soaring and absolutely mesmerizing score. Bravo Williams! Bravo La-La Land!

Holy Grails: PSYIII/ESC TO ATHENA/M'RAKER/WILD GEESE II/NIGHTGEN

I've just finished to listen closely to that epic 2 discs edition. I'm bothered by 2 things... It seems that the chronological order is not respected. For example, the song When You're Alone appears after You Are the Pan, but the song was sung the day before in the movie... The second thing is very strange volume variations in the Ultimate War tracks, as if the film mix was used instead of proper sessions recording. Is there anyone bothered by one of these 2 things like me ?

The discs are indeed not chronological. Thank John Williams for that. And yes, there are volume varations in the Ultimate War tracks, because they used the film stems for these tracks. The session recordings are lost.

Oh noooo the ultimate war masters are lost, what worse thing could have happened to this score ? That explains the medium sound quality of these tracks...

Okay, if John Williams approved, then I'm okay with the small chronological issues (the most surprising being When You're Alone completely out of place and Hook's Blues in the bonus tracks instead of right before Smee's Plan), but there is one small cue that is missing and that I dearly miss : it's the "Goodnight Neverland" cue, right after the song...

I've played it only once, and I was upset by all those tracks being misplaced, so I lost my concentration... I will listen to it once more... Thanks !

Who am I to disagree with John Williams ? But anyway, I've made my own arrangement of the tracks, for a more movie-like listening experience :
