Yes, I agree with Doug that it can´t be fun to see a title you have worked hard with , vanishing in less than a day or two and I first thought that the new idea Intrada has, was that they could decide to print up more CDs if a title moved fast in stock.
The thing I still do not get is the new OOP buisness with titles that hasn´t been out long and was wondering if this was something new Intrada decided after The Explorers was released as I haven´t seen titles get OOP that fast as Rampage, Young guns 2 etc got without them having a limited release and selling out like Predator, Space Camp, Robocop etc did.
Is this a deal Intrada has done with the studios only having the right to those titles for that timelimit?I understand if there is a low stock of the title and it does not move fast as the interest of a certain title has had its heyday and Intrada decides to not press a new batch of that title and decides to sell the ones they have left then OOP that title (but then it would not have a due date, juat a low stock announcement)
I ofcourse understand that a label doesn´t buy the rights for a title in infinity, but deleating a title that hasn´t sold out after less than ½a year was more my question and if it was something new Intrada decided upon after Explorers...
I as a consumer like the new way as I don´t have to sit up in the night waiting for a new release, so I like it and also think it is great for all those who are not regular checkers to these forums...now they have a fair chance of getting titles without missing them in a blink of an eye (That Friday the 13th box must have angered many Friday the 13th fans who missed out on it, not knowing how crazy we soundtrack fanatics are and how fast that low amount moved OOP)
i don´t know if I´m making myself understood here thou
