This is the first time I have been THIS excited waiting for the CDs to arrive...love the soundclips of both Road House and Renegades and Intrada gave us two Kamen at the same time...
Thanks for starting another year with a bang again (last year it was 48hrs) and I´m really excited to listen to what you have done with the Final fight music

Intrada have kicked off the New Year with a bang

Both Road House & Renegades ordered

Hope we get to see some more 80's action & Kamen throughout the year

It seems as if we got lucky and the loss of material on the missing reel isn't that much:

I just checked the movie and the film version of "Emmet's House Explodes" is actually an edit of the music from two scenes: when Swazey leaves the bar after he found Sam Elliot dead and the second one is a portion of the finally when he kills the guy with the knife inside the mansion.

So there's just one missing cue then wich seems to be the car explosion scene...

I'm enjoying this very much! When it was all we could get I played Varese's "Die Hard" to death in an effort to analyze what it was Kamen did differently than everyone else on the planet with his action/suspense music - the way he layers orchestra, keyboards, and soloists together and weaves them around one another. His electronic scores have their own distinct vibe too - "Raggedy Rawney" being a particular favorite of mine. With "Road House" I get another iteration of all of this to feast my ears on. Hope this and "Renegades" are the first two of many upcoming Kamen score releases we have to look forward to.

Have listen through Road House now and I´m very impressed by it but to tell the truth, I do not remember all that music from the movie *LOL*
Kamens music must have been hidden under alot of SFX and Daltons asskicking and bonebreaking as there were alot of music on the CD I did not remember...
Anyway, I´m happy to finally see this released and it was all I ever hoped for in a Kamen release and big thanks to Intrada for releasing it...Next, Renegades
