Awsome! As a huge fan of John Williams I am very happy about the release of SPACE CAMP!!!

Yeah ! The movie is a great 80's flick and the score is one of the rare bright scores Williams wrote in the 80's along with the Indiana Jones, the Star Wars and E.T.... I truly love it !

Mr. F. And Mr. F. and all the rest of you hamsters at Intrada. Do you know that you have now put me in a very difficult situation. Yes you have. Because you have now released (another) great score I want (Spacecamp that is) but I very recently received a package of soundtracks that included both Predator and Rocky IV. I normally wait at least a month or two before making my next soundtrack order. But since I just received them AND the fact that I last week bought a new car (and it was not a used car by the way). So now I really don`t know what to do because I want that Spacecamp score.

Terrific release ! Great you could have been able to improve the sound quality - it was my only complaint about the SLC edition. Oh and liner notes are definitely another plus.

Question for Roger: which was the unreleased cue you wanted to add, but in the end decided to leave out?

I ask this because I remember a very short, but lovely fanfare when the kids see Daedalus or something which isn't on the album.

I'm wondering why I have never seen the LP of this score? I'm thinking RCA Red Seal which were always high quality.

Looking forward to this disc as well as Cohen And Tate, (really love the dark moody scores).

this release is a blind buy for me. I've never seen the film or heard the score or the samples. I just ordered the release. I am a sucker for Williams scores 80's and back.

I had the LP back in the day, and even managed to get my hands on that short-lived Japanese CD release. All were fine, but I am truly looking forward to the royal Intrada treatment, with up-to-the-minute remastered sound and, I have no doubt, gorgeous packaging and great liner notes.

The Conti sounds fascinating as well. Both ordered.

It's becoming habitual to buy everything Intrada puts out. And not from a "completist" mentality either. I've gotten amazing re-issues of my holy grails from them, as well as scores and/or composers that I was completely unfamiliar with. I'd say the last few years have been as much of an education in film music as the one that I gave myself, buying records back in the 70's when everything was still brand new. Intrada has been key but of course not the only label responsible (thank you, FSM).

I've never fully launched myself into SPACECAMP except for casual listening, but now is the perfect time to give this score its moment in the sun. I can't >bleepin'< wait!
