Without checking, I seem to recall Larry GRoupe is scoring the remake.

Terrific release! Great sound, wonderfully knowledgeable liner notes by Mr. Redman, and Joe Sikoryak's usual fine job on the graphics. The only caveat I have is wishing the two unused source pieces had been placed as bonus tracks at the end as they kind of take me out of the feel of the score proper.

But this is nitpicking at such a great treat. Hearing this masterpiece in such fine, transparent sound lets one appreciate how magnificently Fielding rose to the challenge of scoring such a difficult film. It's not easy listening for many people but for those who can appreciate the score's musical and psychological depth, it's a gourmet sonic meal.

Thanks Doug and all for all the hard work in bringing this one to fruition. It was worth the wait.

I have to chime in that this is one AWESOME release! I can't say that I can readily recall the score after all these years, but this CD has renewed my appreciation for one of Fielding's true masterpieces. My only grip in that track #2, "Amy’s Noise," is just waaaay too short!
