Since Jingle All the Way is still available, and after a day or so Little Monsters did not seem to be on the vanishing road, I thought I could wait a bit till next Monday to order everything at once (depending, naturally, on the new titles), but the CD sold out before I could even have time to see a "so many units left" alert!
Fortunately, I was in time to get one from SAE (incidentally, I don't remember getting an Inrrada release from them, whereas I have often completed Intrada orders with FSM CDs; it's just a matter of different release frequencies).
I am very happy to have gotten a copy, as this is a truly beautiful score!
The "frightening" moments are not of the weirder kind, so that it all flows well (except for one track-- I don't know the name, but you certainly know which one; some sort of source or semi-source cue; good music, but music too different from the rest of the score).
Great music!
Some parts were akin to Frankenweenie, which I hope will get a release at some point, too.
Two questions regarding the movie, which I have never seen, and will probably hardly ever have a chance of seeing: could someone please explain me exactly what the track titles "Brian Bed Legs" and "Sign Running" refer to?
"Brian Bed Legs": should it read "Brian's bed's legs", or does he have bed leg-like legs?
"Sign Running": I can't guess; are they escaping the monster world by running "through"/in street signs?
