Doug, Roger and all the Intrada staff : thank you so much for having saved this classic score with superior sound from the 20th Century Fox vault, in the first place !

Then, about the "limited edition" issues, I'm glad I had my copy, but I frequently go the Alan Silvestri message board where I could be aware of this release days before it happens ! I seriously doubt any die hard Silvestri fan could miss it, as it was clearly announced on his message board. And when I'm away from home, as it will happen at the end of the month for 2 weeks, I have plenty of ways of checking the Intrada site on the day of the new releases (phone, laptop, portable console, cybercafe, etc). People who missed this release and others only have to blame themselves for not paying attention to what's happening/announced in the film score community. Don't blame Intrada because you took the risk to miss an important annoucement, that's really stupid.

But anyhow: It's. Not. The. Point. THE point is That there's obviously more marketing than the 3.000 released, and that they're not there. So stop making ad hominem arguments.

Hey Intrada,

I received my copy today, and I am LOVING IT!.... Sadly, my Wife, on the other hand, is NOT. :lol:

This is the first time I've ever heard the score outside the film, and it is crisp, and clear, and percussive, and wonderful. I am your target audience, and I'd just like to again say THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this available. Keep 'em coming!

I'm not sure Doug is correct that other labels get "Less heat", it probably just more noticeable when its your own product.

Every time something sells fast, this happens. Maybe Intrada just releases "better" products to it happens "more"...I don't know if that's necessarily true though, it seems like whenever anyone releases a big title that goes quickly, this is the reaction.
