What does this mean for Disney?

Roger, does this mean a few special now-and-then titles for DVD conencidings or what have you, or has Disney finally seen the evil in their ways and you can now negociate for the rights to anything in their posession?

So many good scores in their grasp, and who knows how many other rejected scores to unearth. Are the possibilities limitless?

Well, I wouldn't count on The Rescue or an expanded The Rescuers Down Under or Arachnophobia any time soon, but then again... there are always possibilities, as someone said.

You know we -- esPEcially me -- are going to enjoy the hell out of B:SOTLL, but what about Disney? HAve they been cracked? To an extent? What is the reality of the situation?

You said it was a "minor miracle" that it happened. That easy, huh?

I think maybe Disney knows there is a market for score CD's, but maybe it's pocket change to them, why waste the time/money/effort for a mere 1500-3000 units of some CD, I mean that only comes to a total of $59,850.00 for this Baby CD, hell they make that in a few hours in one of their theme parks. I'm most likely wrong in what I'm saying, I'm again just speculating of course. I'm still holding my fingers crossed, I'm trying to not count my eggs before they are hatched. When/if I see another Disney release by Intrada, I will feel more comfortable that they truly have made progress with Disney. Which I sure hope they do as I have heard a LOT of folks wanting Horer's Something Wicked This Way Comes, add me to that list.

Any company should be interested in a group of customers that, even if they were able to get the music for free as a download, they would buy the CD anyway. #57 rule of acquisition :wink:
