For all the crap that he received over time, he did help get a lot of beloved scores out for us. His work is much appreciated. I guess this downsizing was inevitable, as much of the decent money now seems to be in well-marketed vinyl albums.

Cary Mansfield is apparently still there and at the helm for the archival CD releases, which is good because he produces lots of the more obscure soundtracks that most other producers might not risk doing.

A lot of the new vinyl pressed in the US is junk and cheap exploitation.

So his final releases included the much requested Raggedy Man. That will go down very well indeed. And finally a Robocop 2 expansion.

I really wish him the best in the future. He has done a lot for the community; it's a hard case to argue over-all when looking over the many releases over the years to which his name has been attached. As for Varese Sarabande itself, I hope we can continue to see a healthy continuance of the CD Club and further expansions of the properties they continue to hold in perpetuity.
