I rewarded my marathon dish-washing I had to do today by going to Intrada to buy the ALIEN release. I saw a wipe board with cryptic and complicated writing on it. Probably their New Release Shock and Awe Strategy!!
The buying experience, again, was perfect. I was surprised that the canapes and imported water they offered me tasted even better than last time.
Also, from the looks of the whole area, they have built their own George-Lucas-worthy scoring stage, because I keep seeing musicians carrying instruments in the area. Lots of musicians.
And, oh, someone must be trying to pull "a Bernard Herrmann", because I saw shofars being taken into one session -- NINE OF THEM. And some mixing bowls.
But because I also remember elephants being led from one building to another, I'm thinking maybe they also have SOUND stages, and they're filming their own movies.
They must be kinda-sorta epic, because I keep seeing:
--men in togas
--busty women in slave costumes
Oh, I must add that when I was there Doug Fake was nowhere to be seen. So I imagined he must be off doing what world-class musician/soundtrack producers have to do daily, like yell at first-chair violinists or something.
