INTRADA Announces John Barry's THE DEEP

The releases for The Black Hole and the rejected score to The Golden Child brought me to sample a lot of non-Bond scores by John Barry lately through YouTube, and this is one that came as a delightful surprise. I am kicking myself for ignoring this well thought-out presentation by Intrada.

An additional pressing of this would be a dream come true for the recently enlightened.

I ended up getting this a while ago via trade and finally caught the film. It contains fabulous emotional scoring that only John Barry could do, and is a good showcase of how skillful he was at integrating synths when it made most sense during the moments expressing danger.
