Hi all
A few years ago, I had a go at scoring a film. 'The Witches Hammer' was a low-budget, independent vampire movie starring Stephanie Beacham. Yes, it's as interesting as it sounds.

I wrote a considerable amount of music for the film during its production, which spanned three years, working with synths and samples. My aim was to try to make the music sound 'bigger' than the budget allowed. It was hard work, but I'm glad I did it and was pleased with the results.
The score was originally released by MovieScore Media on their own site and iTunes, which was very kind of them. It's gone from those outlets now, so I thought I would self-publish it.
You can have a listen to it at: .
I'd love to hear what you guys think of it. Be gentle
If you don't want to wade through all the cues, I'd recommend the 'Theme', 'Warehouse Fight', 'Kitanya' and 'Bar Fight' as fairly representative. Oh, and 'Charlotte's Waltz', where the director asked me to get as Elfmanesque as I could possibly manage. I think you'll hear the influence.
