I had to share with all of you because the people in my world couldn't care less...

I hit my first flea market of the season today. I drive 20 minutes to find 4 small tables spread out on the front lawn of an antique shop. Bad sign. I go to the only table with CDs and there's a stack of about 6 of them. Things are looking grim until I pick up the stack and I see the familiar red side of the old Varese CDs. I read "Legend: Tangerine Dream." HOLY CRAP!!! My first yard sale of the season and I score Tangerine Dream's score to Legend on Varese Sarabande for $2.

I'd say I'm off to a good start.

Welcome to the "I found Legend for $2.00" club! I found my copy for $2.00 at a junkstore in Ohio awhile back. We need to develop some sort of secret hand sign in order to identify one another when mingling amongst the uninformed. Sort of like that two and two finger thing in the old Invaders TV show.

Last year, I found a used copy of Tangerine Dream's WAVELENGTH at Schuler Books & Music for ... you guessed it ... $2!

Golly. Is there some kind of $2.00 thing happening with Tangerine Dream? Coincidences? Cast offs? Certainly nice luck for you listeners of this talented band!

I almost felt bad. I wanted to just give her a heads up that she was selling me a $20-$30 CD for $2, but I couldn't do it. Hell, she's probably gradually selling off her son's soundtrack collection and next week she'll be selling The Fog or something.
