Intrada Soundtrack Forum

This is a completely mesmerizing score for both film and album. Not a single track on the first disc ought to be skipped when you can set aside the time to listen to it all. For me, this score is the capstone of Jerry Goldsmith's career. To get the complete scores for Gremlins and Explorers (which Intrada's release gave me a newfound appreciation for) in the same year is something else.

I can't get enough of Goldsmith's clever integration of synths in his 80s output, whether used sparingly or full-blown. I even adore his maligned rejected score to Alien Nation.

Got my latest Intrada packet today, with both Gremlins & The Core. I started by Gremlins and it's unbelievable to hear it at last, 27 years after its recording, and to find the sound as sharp as it's been recorded last week!

The most silly score from Goldsmith in my opinion and one of my all-time favorites movies & scores. Thank you Jerry, thank you Lukas!

Recieved today from Intrada along with Fright Night. Dare i say this is my first Jerry Goldsmith score/soundtrack i've ever bought

Anyhow great score finally getting the release its missed out on for years. I have it playing as i type this and like Eh Tar says you'd would'nt think it was 27 years old the sound is amazing.

This was my first Jerry Goldsmith too, but many moons ago... ! ^^
