I'm so hoping to see a complete Lion King (Hans Zimmer) and DuckTales TV series (Ron Jones) being released, now with so many score releases once thought to be impossible becoming a reality.

Please look into getting the instrumental background music from EPCOT Center released! There's been a lot of great music composed for this park that hasn't seen any official release, from 1982 onward. I'm referring to the background loops that play at the entrance of the park - containing arranged versions of pavilion and ride themes - and some of the remaining unreleased ride scores. Randy Thornton has put together some excellent park soundtracks, including the latest release "Four Parks, One World," and I'm sure he's aware of the desire for this other material, if it still exists or if the rights are available.

Seconding avalanche's plea for releases of Disney theme park music. And adding the requisite request for Bruce Broughton's original music for the various attractions he's scored (The Timekeeper, From Time to Time, The Making of Me, Ellen's Energy Adventure, etc.). From part 2 of a recent interview with Broughton on the video podcast Streamers and Punches, he's all for it (even mentioning Doug/Intrada and their collaboration with Disney):

I'll mention Clifton Parker's graceful, earnest, and stately scores for director Ken Annakin's THE STORY OF ROBIN HOOD AND HIS MERRIE MEN (1952) and THE SWORD AND THE ROSE (1953). While I wouldn't have expected either to sell 1,000 among the regular Intrada public, the Disney marketing muscle might move these titles successfully among their broader universe.

Especially now that both titles have been released on DVD.

Plus there's always my own favorite vintage Disney picture: THE THREE CABALLEROS (1945).

Anyone knows the approximate date for the next release of Disney

Here's the next two Disney titles I'm hoping for.

Island At the Top of the World.
Last Flight of Noah's Ark.

Since I can't post at FSM, I thought I'd bring up a small detail.

And FSM poster said the Ducktales film score was only 30 minutes. That is false. the full score is about 70 minutes. With the alternates and unused cues, probably over 77. Probably damn near every second of free space on the disc.

I hope this Newman scores sees the light of day.

From the Walt era I think the score by Max Steiner for "Those Calloways" would be something of a collectors item. Not only was it the first film he composed for Disney but it was the last film score Steiner ever composed...and quite a striking one at that.
