Anybody BRAVE enough to pick this up yet?

Because of the nature of his music I always forget that Howard Shore has firm roots in pop-music-land as the music director for Saturday Night Live in the late '70s, which is as far from the sensibilities that have made him such a valued collaborator of David Cronenberg's as I can think of. Shore's music for "Eclipse" is unmistakably his but there's a neat burbling electric guitar texture in there that I don't think I've heard from him before. Intentionally or not he follows Burwell and Desplat's lead providing a lovely piano-based theme for our star-crossed vampire/werewolf hotties but, again, nobody could've written this stuff but Shore. The action music is as thick and thunderous as anything he did for "Lord of the Rings". Heaven!!!
I wonder who they are gonna go to for the next two films? Anybody reckon they'll try and maintain the upward trajectory and go for Ennio Morricone and John Williams???
