I was just curious as to why we don't get any of his music on CD. I know HOUSE & HOUSE II have been released on CD as well as DEEP STAR SIX, but why no FRIDAY THE 13th or SWAMP THING? He is selling CDR's over on his website (sorry if that's a no no!), but I look to a day when an official release of those scores or anything for that matter by him will become available to us. I was just curious if anyone out there might know a little something about it.

I think thisone will see a 1000 copy LP to CD Varese Club release in the near future.

FRIDAY THE 13:th:
The Paramount vaults was cracked by LaLaLand & Filmscore Monthly it is just a matter of time before a label will release these classic horror scores.
Maybe LaLaLand has a future box set in mind who knows.

I used to have a 16mm short called Frog Goes To Dinner with a pretty cool jazz score by Harry Manfredini. It's about a kid, while on a dinner trip with his parents, secretly brings his pet frog along. The frog gets loose and creates all sorts of trouble including jumping down the Saxophone of one of the jazz band players who are entertaining at the restaurant. Harry Manfredini is seen in the film as one of the musicians.

It's a funny little film. He's more or less known as a horror film composer and this film is the complete opposite of the kind of stuff he's usually known for.

In my mind Harry Manfredini`s best score is from Aces: Iron Eagle 3 - and luckily I own that CD.

I would love to see a Horror Show a.k.a House III CD released or the music to Hills Have Eyes 2...
A Friday the 13th box would be most welcomed too but we are getting a nice Puppetmasters box from Perservance in July as a substitute

I look forward to that every time there is a new announcement from Varese for the CD Club. I got my wish for MANHATTAN PROJECT, CHILDREN OF THE CORN and SILVER BULLET. One day SWAMP THING!
