Intrada Soundtrack Forum

This release will be a revelation for me, since I've never seen the film. Not too long ago, Intrada's release of Mr. Majestyk opened my ears to an era of Charles Bernstein's career that I didn't even know existed, and for which I've since gained an immense appreciation. I'm very much looking forward to White Lightning, thanks in part to those kick-ass sound samples.

Having never seen or even heard of the movie before it appeared here, I'd just like to say how glad I am I ordered this - it's amazing. An absolutely brilliant listen (not sure about the Way Down vocal track at the end, but to make up for that I really like the unused Ballade) all the way through.

The action music, the love themes, it's wonderful stuff, and sounds so good on this CD (and now on my iPod) as well. Many thanks all around.

I also backordered Comes A Horseman since I only saw the film a few weeks ago, and again, such a beautiful score and the sound is tremendous. I can't believe the story Doug tells in the booklet about only just finding the stereo copy at the last moment - talk about luck!
