Ah, Eraser...this movie started playing the week I first got a job in a cinema when I was 16, so it's actually quite memorable for me.
It's also memorable for a) being the worst title for laser rot in the history of laserdiscs and b) the incredible censorship applied to its UK releases. Amongst a lot of violence lost in the cinema version, for the home version they also (get this) removed the goddamn ending. The UK DVD of Eraser features James Caan's character...being left in a parked car. That's it.
Thankfully when the blu-ray was released last year, they finally put everything back as it should be.
I'll probably pick this up - Silvestri action is always welcome, though I really hoped this CD would also have the Trevor Rabin song "Caught A Train" from the end credits. Then again, I read that Rabin himself doesn't even have a copy of it, so a DVD rip might be the only way to go.
