Just reading the opening words of the first sentence, it seemed certain Doug was going to address the phenomenally fast sellout of "The China Syndrome."

He was, however, given to pondering a greater issue...that of life and death. I'm certain "The Outsiders" was the first time I saw Patrick Swayze on screen, but it was in "Red Dawn" that he made his first impression upon me as a talent to be reckoned with.

I remember Intrada when it was CineMonde...or, rather, part of CineMonde. Those were the golden days, Doug...

We're all older, and some of us fall by the wayside while the rest of us plod on.
