I couldn't resist giving you a congrats on this. What an incredible score to have as your "first" LP. Ironically, it's what brought Roger and I into contact for the first time, too. I was already selling soundtracks in my own store when this little "kid" who couldn't drive yet dropped in with his dad so he could buy the FIRST BLOOD record. Man. I'm jealous of you two guys. I love that album! (Who could've imagined back then that one day I'd be responsible for its CD premiere?)

I have many version of FIRST BLOOD , but ironically i missed your very "first"version on cd!I have the LP, the varese one and the many japanese versions...
At this point i'll try to win your premiere cd on e-bay!It's a must have now!

The first score I obtained was Jurassic Park which my cousin gave to me. Ironically, I remember him playing it for me when I was younger, and he was gushing about it, and I wasn't too impressed--I did like the music, but I wasn't as enthusiastic. Now, while he still appreciates film score to a much greater degree than the mainstream public, I've really taken up the score loving. I believe the first score I purchased was The Rocketeer, and I want to say that was around 2002-ish. I remember the first few scores I got were that, Raiders of the Lost Ark (I'm pretty sure that was my second), Hook, and Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. All of this came from a convergence between my love for film score and my discovery of Ebay. I was 12.
