Two earlier Intrada Special Collection limited releases have triggered a "low quantity alert". If you haven't yet picked up MONSIGNOR by John Williams, and you like his rich, glorious style of music, now would be a good time to take the plunge. Also running low are copies of WARGAMES, the exciting score by Arthur B. Rubinstein for the smash hit MGM film from 1983. It's definitely a winner!

We'll have another new release for you to consider this coming Tuesday, July 20. We're world premiering some super cool eighties action and suspense music by a legendary super cool composer. With this particular score, the composer wrote some forty minutes or so of full length cues that make up for a really dynamite album. He also wrote an extraordinary number of tiny cues, fragments and short transition cues which, when included in the album seem to create a lot of padding. So we've assembled everything with maximum listening pleasure in mind, offering what we think is a dynamic "album". We've also included virtually every additional cue and short fragment in "the extras" section of the CD for completists. We've even provided a road map for those wanting to program everything in picture sequence. The best of both worlds, so to speak. A long long time ago, composers actually put together record albums with listening in mind. Today most of the CDs aimed at our niche market have moved towards offering every single note in picture sequence, no matter how listenable the results may be. So we're sort of offering both methods here and you can listen either way! Hop onto our welcome page on Monday evening for the title and audio samples... and have fun!

Some excitement heading this way on Tuesday, August 3. We've got two more new limited edition CDs in our Special Collection series that'll probably appeal to diverse audiences. On one disc you'll find scores from a pair of 1950's CinemaScope pictures, both in stereo, both from composers heavily associated with that era. We've got 1200 copies available. On the other disc we're re-issuing a genuine 1980's classic with improved audio courtesy superior master elements. Contents are identical though a couple of track assemblies differ. For minute-by-minute counters, our version is slightly longer due to a complete presentation of the end credits (they were slightly truncated on the earlier version.) No big deal there. The initial release was very well-produced and satisfied fans for the short time it was available. But the title should be available again - especially now. So we've got 3000 of them to go around. I think our digital sonics make for a worthy improvement, too. The music, needless to say, is literally explosive! Watch for the postings and sound samples on our site this Monday evening, August 2. Orders start shipping the very next day.
