Melle's score contributes to the claustrophobic character of this 1972 thriller. Now that the movie is available on DVD and Blu-ray, the appreciation for the score should grow to justify a CD release. (Those who like the composer's work on THE SENTINEL, should find much to savor here.) If the score is perhaps too short to occupy a CD on its own, there should be other Melle music to fill the void (considering Melle's heavy involvement with Universal).
