Not only is the original MCA soundtrack album long out of print, but only carried 41 minutes of music (including the vocal "Don't Fear the Reaper", not composed by Elfman, that leaves only about 35 minutes of the Elfman score). The Director's Cut of this movie (about 2 hours) could contain 80-90 minutes of Elfman's original score. For those enamoured of this composer (and there are many), an Expanded CD would be a cornucopia of delights. |

I think this might into Intrada's territory? MCA Records was with Universal I believe? |
