The one soundtrack set on my bucket wishlist is a complete set of scores from ROD SERLING'S NIGHT GALLERY. I CANNOT believe the music from this series has NEVER been released in ANY format. I see soundtracks to films and TV series released over and over but this series has never been represented. Gil Mellé, Robert Bain, Paul Glass, John Lewis, Oliver Nelson, Robert Prince, and Eddie Sauter were the composers for the series. I wish Intrada -- or another label -- would work with renowned NIGHT GALLERY expert Scott Skelton to make this happen. Scott was instrumental in getting Universal to release the uncut originally broadcasted NIGHT GALLERY episodes on DVD and has written two books on the subject. I would, of course, buy this set in a HEARTBEAT!
I would think with series such as THE INVADERS, KOLCHAK THE NIGHT STALKER, and all the Irwin Allen TV series scores on CD -- a NIGHT GALLERY set would be possible.
Does anyone else in this forum agree? I'd love to see what some of you would think.
This has to happen.
