Intrada Soundtrack Forum

Considering the success of Intrada's pairing of the LP programs from Goldsmith's OUR MAN FLINT + IN LIKE FLINT, maybe a similar pairing should be considered for a single CD containing the Dankworth scores. Granted , the connection is more tenuous for the Dankworth scores than the FLINT pairing, but an earlier separate release of these Dankworth scores by a certain British label, had rather disappointing sound quality (even more so with the ádditional' tracks offered on the MODESTY BLAISE CD). If better quality masters can be found in the Universal Music vaults for these Dankworth albums, this would be enough justification for a new release. (If the covers on the original 20th Century-Fox LP covers can be believed, these are the original tracks (not re-recordings as with the FLINT duo).
