The 1984 film “Streets of Fire” soundtrack is pretty amazing with songs penned by the likes of Jim Steinman and Stevie Nicks. The soundtrack contained two songs that had different vocals in the actual film and edited 7” releases of the Jim Steinman anthems “ Tonight is what it means to be young” and “Nowhere fast”. The soundtrack was produced by Jimmy Iovine and would make a Stella expanded edition especially to commemorate Steinman’s recent passing.

But what about Ry Cooder`s score and James Horner`s unused/rejected score?
