Recently I discovered the movie and its score and I was absolutely blown away at how much I enjoyed both of them. It's a gloriously beautiful score, and one that IMO, deserves a reissue or complete score presentation. The use of choral voices and integration of patriot-style songs is a beautiful fit for this movie. James Horner is sorely missed, and this is one of his best scores IMO.

I'm sure this has run through the record labels' minds a few thousand times.

Seems to be a Sony Pictures and UMG combo for expansion licensing purposes, so it would probably cost a pretty penny to produce.

I would buy an expansion no questions asked. Yes indeed one of my favorite composers as well. Just noticed that Omni Music Publishing has the book to Horner's score. Below is the complete score/tracklists:
