Of all the “grails” over the years, this has always been my number 1. With the exception of Star Wars, it was this score that captured my interest in orchestral scores when I was a mere 10 year old! Am I alone in desiring this??? It never gets mentioned by anyone in Internet forums I know James Horner himself hated its recording, but I just LOVE it (I still have the vinyl album!), complete with all the performance fluffs Intrada is the perfect home for an expanded release....PLEASE! |

Yup, the BSX release features a wealth of supplemental material from Alan Howarth, but no additional Horner score. I wonder if Horner made enough alternate takes of cues to assemble (cut & paste) a new master eliminating those glaring erroneous notes. |
