The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise returned in 2011 with its fourth entry, On Stranger Tides. Loosely based on the book by Tim Powers, the movie follows Jack Sparrow on a quest to find the Fountain of Youth. He is joined by an old flame of his, Angelica, who wants to use the Fountain's power to save her father, the villainous Blackbeard, from a prophesied death at the hands of Barbossa. Hans Zimmer returns for the third/fourth time to compose the score for the movie. Sadly, the original score was found severly lacking in terms of musical score, with half of the disc being used for unnecessary (and in my opinion, awful) remixes of existing tracks. To finally give this score the release it deserved, I've written the following track list, in the hope that it might see a release deserving of the Pirates franchise. 1. On Stranger Tides 2.
