Intrada Soundtrack Forum

This is a fantastic thematic orchestral score by Basil. The original MCA album is littered with intrusive dialogue and non-score music, though it does have about half an hour of very good Basil amidst that. There is at least another quarter hour of excellent orchestral music in the film with further interesting variation and development of the scores' themes. The 25th annniversary of the film is coming up, and Intrada has previously expanded other Poledouris scores. Any hope for this, Roger? Maybe it's even something you've already looked into?

I am in complete concurrence with this request. I've wanted the score in its entirety for quite some time, especially with the removed dialogue of which Yavar spoke. Unlike the great Lassie expansion and remaster I was also hoping to see (though I am now forced to think it will likely not be coming due to Sony's reluctance to license anything further), I suspect Serial Mom would be a little less of a hassle in terms of its licensing? Here's hoping anyway!
