Since 1999, Nickelodeon has been broadcasting the well-known show SpongeBob SquarePants. About to reach its thirteenth season, there are few people who haven't been touched by the adventures of the little yellow sponge and his friends. During the show's heyday and before the late Stephen Hillenburg stepped away, Nickelodeon released the first feature film starring SpongeBob, entitled The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Fifteen years later, the movie still has a big fanbase.
A personal reason for why this movie is so good (and still a childhood favorite to this day) is because of the score. Composed by Gregor Narholz, who had provided a number of source cues for various episodes, gave the movie a fun and at times emotional layer to it. Sadly, this score has thus far never been released, and considering the movie celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, alongside the overall show's recent 20th anniversary, it just might be the perfect time for Intrada to take action.
Thus far, I have been able to create a possible tracklist based on recording sessions and personal research, which can be found below. I hope it might help to make this long overdue release a reality.
