Ok, how about the soundtrack to "The Fan" composed by Pino Donaggio? The movie starred James Garner and Lauren Bacall. Released by Paramount Pictures. Perfect opportunity to add this to the Intrada catalog.

Ah... that's too bad. Hopefully one day the Stigwood estate will get its act together and we can finally see a release of this soundtrack. By the way, I'm a Goblin fan as well. Have all their albums twice because of the remasters. LOL.

Goblin & Donaggio, two great tastes that
taste great together!
I know, how or why there is a hurdle for THE FAN is tragic & idiotic. PD was on a great run of romantic suspensers in the early 80's before keyboards started to dominate his work, to varying results.
This is one of the best & varied scores of that era - I guess the only hope is tapes DO exist, maybe someday the right ears will hear our plea and release this score! It's only been 38 years!!

And for my favorite Italian bunch I love the Cinevox reissued from the early 2000's. They do for me, and besides...rebuying Morricone constantly is enough to keep up with, bugger having to chase Goblin too!
Except Susperia...every time I buy the film again it comes with a new CD, ha!

Read somewhere awhile back that Pino Donaggio self released an LP of The Fan in 1980.
