Composed after his time at RKO, this may be the finest score ever composed by this neglected artist. The composer didn't retain music elements for this movie (as his home and contents were destroyed by fire in 1961), so could there be suitable music elements with the current owner of the movie (Paramount)?

This was one of those non-John Wayne Batjac productions, so God knows where the scoring elements would be. I still have a feeling that they would exist in monaural mixdowns from the original stereo tracks somewhere in the Warner vaults, the studio that initially produced the film. I agree that TRACK is one of Webb's best. I also like two other Warner scores, BLOOD ALLEY and THE SEA CHASE.
