This is one of my last holy grails left. The old Silva Screen cd seems not to be the complete score, some exciting action tracks are still missing. But I also love the romantic parts of the score and the asian influence. I hope to see a expanded/complete cd one day.

Roger said the tapes were missing, I think.

I think the original LP program, while not quite complete, was very close to fully documenting the score. Prometheus' 2004 re-issue of this program supposedly has much better sound quality than the early Silva edition.

My Waves restoration from a virgin Tetragramaton LP is one of my proudest achievements but I've always regretted the lack of that great cue when Peck sneaks out of captivity over the roof at night, Goldsmith stretching the suspense tautly on high-pitched strings. It's probably not not included on the original as the cue is just cut off by a sound effect as I recall.
